Have you ever wondered what life was like 60,000 years ago or why Koorie culture is so unique? Learn about the fascinating Koorie culture at the award-winning Koorie Heritage Trust Cultural Centre in the heart of Melbourne.

Walk through the interactive Permanent Exhibition to discover both the ancient and contemporary lifestyle of Aboriginal people from Victoria. Touch a possum-skin cloak, play clap sticks or hold a spear-thrower. Four galleries showcase the best of emerging and established Koorie artists.

Experience a very personal insight into Koorie culture with an Aboriginal Cultural Interpreter on a range of guided walking tours. All of the tours peel back the layers of concrete to unlock the hidden secrets of Melbourne that can only be seen through Aboriginal eyes.

Visitors can purchase authentic Koorie art, artefacts and gifts. Entry is free to the Cultural Centre.
