Gracefield Cottage

As you pass through our gate, with virgin bush on the right and a springfed lake on the left, the long curved driveway takes you to Gracefield Cottage. It is a fully self-contained country cottage, with two bedrooms upstairs, sleeping up to 5 people, and also small sitting room.  Downstairs has a cosy, comfortable lounge with a wood heater and is equipped with a TV, DVD, and CD player.  The homely kitchen has full cooking facilities and is ideal for a couple or a family. 

If you decide to eat in or have a BBQ we can supply you with gourmet venison at a small cost.  There is also a laundry with washing machine and dryer.

Sit out on the verandah and enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the birds.  Soak up the peaceful surroundings of a working farm or take a walk and watch the deer, goats and alpacas and the occaisonal cow grazing in the fields.  The farm is a wonderful experience for children as the chooks, goats and deer are very friendly and will take kindly to some hand feeding.  The Neerim State Forest, which borders the property, is great for bushwalking, horseriding and bike riding, but you could also have a lazy day reading a book or taking a nap!

There are many things to do in West Gippsland, so take a drive and visit the local wineries and cafes or have a picnic at the nearby Tarago Dam or the fern gullies of Glen Nayook and Toorongo Falls.  Mt. Baw Baw is only 50 minutes away and provides ideal skiing for families in winter, or, during the warmer months, go bushwalking, bike riding and watch the wildflowers bust into life.

Dogs are very welcome on the property but they must be under supervision at all times.
