Belmont was built circa 1900. In 1996, the current owners, Bill and Carolyn Peyton added some modern comforts and opened the doors to those seeking to explore the many delights of north-eastern Victoria. Belmont has an accredited 4 star rating with AAAT

A 'large small' town, Benalla offers many quiet pursuits, such as the acclaimed Art Gallery with its lakeside restaurant, plus a variety of street-side bakeries and craft shops.

A 15 minute drive places you in the heart of Kelly Country. Or if you're after some action, there's motor racing at Winton, the popular gliding centre, lawn bowls, or the golf course with excellent lawn grass greens.
